AAC 101 with MDTAP: This presentation will focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) provided by MDTAP’s Sarah Calhoun, ATP and James Whitney, OTR/L. We will overview what AAC is, the legal considerations you should know, different types of commonly used AAC devices, various access methods for these devices, general tips for approaching device acquisition, and which disabilities might benefit most from these devices. This webinar will span 45 minutes and include time for Q & A.
